Beginners learn a safe stance, braking, first changes of direction, and controlled turns. It is not about speed, but about balance, confidence, and developing a good feel for the board.

For advanced riders: technique, turns, and more control

Those who can already snowboard work on clean turns, edge control, rhythm, slope safety, and, if desired, playful freestyle basics. The lesson is designed to motivate while also building technical confidence.

Equipment matched to your snowboard lesson

A snowboard, boots, and suitable bindings can be reserved at Mali Sport. It is important that the board length, boot size, and bindings match your ability and riding goals. This makes the lesson more comfortable and safer from the start.

Who is the snowboard lesson suitable for?

From what age can children join snowboard lessons?

For snowboard lessons, the minimum age is 10 years.

Issued lesson tickets are non-refundable. In case of injury or illness, we recommend taking out travel insurance.

However, we offer several flexible options, such as day-by-day booking or extensions, to keep the risk as low as possible for you.

Anyone entering the slopes with snowboard equipment must have a valid ski pass.

We offer lessons for everyone from beginners to confident snowboarders. On the first day of your lesson, you will be assigned to a group based on your current ability.

Our highly trained team of ski and snowboard instructors speaks German and English, and some of our instructors also speak Dutch. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to a Dutch-speaking snow sports instructor.

Please let us know your wishes when booking. We will do our best to accommodate them.

All snowboard lessons take place in the Hochoetz ski area.

The meeting point is always at our assembly area in Hochoetz, unless a different meeting point is arranged on site at the booking office.

In general, we recommend registering or booking in good time via our booking portal or by email. Since we only fill our groups up to a certain number of participants, we cannot guarantee that there will still be enough available places on site without a prior booking.
